I don't think Kaiba at this point in time know how to deal with Jou in two different forms. He is insecure also doesn't really want to get close to anyone least of all Jou. He probably do have some feelings for him/her but he probably feel that it's better to be close off than have another person get close to him. He doesn't know whether to pursuit Jou or just abandon it for now or forever.
Also, he is quite conscious of what the world will said. Since he already have his brother as a possible target he doesn't need more to add to the list.
Jou with his mix gender have all his feelings mix up. At one hand he does feel attracted to kaiba but in another he feel some hesitation. For now, it seem Jou wanted to be more to Kaiba than just their normal enemy ways. But Because Kaiba closed off and saying it was nothing but fun plus he have no feelings for him what so ever. (BS for Kaiba. mwahah) Jou feel that he being slapped and his heart have torn out because he already have some feelings towards him. He feel that Kaiba used him while leading him by the nose. He feel some what betrayed.
I hope it will be a good ending. I love the mix with Ranma 1/2. I love the story.

this is a really good story. u should go on with it. i'm very mad that u haven't updated in a long time. the story has a unique twist. u should make joey fall in love with kaiba and vise versa. kaiba should go slower though.
