Aw ::blushes:: I've never had someone dedicate a story to me before!
And such a poignant vignette, too. I see too few good portrayals of Kikyou in fanfiction-she's a complex, frequently-enigmatic and rather pitiable character, and it seems a shame that most of the time she's simply used as the Evil Ex.
You've given her a much more nuanced portrait here-I assume that this story falls somewhere after Inuyasha's death but before Kagome makes her wish on the completed Shikon-no-Tama?
I'm also hoping that this: "Deeper down inside the pool of magic was energy magenta in color, that wasn't entirely miko magic" comes up again in "One Wish."
Anyhow, great job and as always, I look forward to reading more of your work!
