Good start, number three. :) I can understand that the first chapter would naturally be a bit slow plot-wise - everything needs to be set up for the rest of the story.
So, Bubbles (Boomer too, maybe?) is going in the singing contest, Blossom and Brick are competing in the speech contest, and what does that leave for the green puff and ruff? Well, maybe they'll end up in the quiz against each other. :D
