I'm really loving this story so far! But I must point out one mistake I found so far...
You sometimes referred to the Captain as a "he", when you've made it quite clear that the Captain is a "she". Be careful, the one "s" in front of the word makes all the difference!

Wonderfully written. I came back and re-read it after Halo 2. When I first read it, I thought, "psh! good story but could never happen." However, after beating Halo 2, and seeing the intresting alliances that the game ended with, I have to say, it now seems very possible.

Personally I thought it was a beautiful story… I also admit that at the end I cried. It certainly gives you a different look at the Elites. Great work. If there is a sequel I look forward to reading it. Best of luck.
