As you can tell by the username, I usually don't read much fanfic outside of Redwall, but after Halo 2, I was really looking for an interesting Elite-focused story. I definitely got it with this.
Your writing is exceptional and, aside from a few grammar problems, there were no blemishes at all with the story.
I read the entire thing straight through and enjoyed it immensely. Maybe we'll get to see a sequel of some kind after you play through Halo 2?
I'll definitely be rating this fanfic a 10/10.

That hit me so deep I think im gonna cry. This story is beyond words almost. Your skills as a writer are amazing and I havent read somthing that powerful in 4 or 5 years. You've inspired me to think differently with this story. Im going to look a bit deeper from no on.

My favoirite Halo FanFic Ever. The ending was beautiful, and the whole story was very original. In some cases, it was hard to follow the action, but overall it shined. Good Action, Romance and Tragedy. The plot twists were also good, and so where your discriptions. Keep up the good work.

You know, there's one in every bunch. Halo is a science fiction game and, therefore, like ANY science fiction story is a suspension of reality. To my mind, anyone has a free hand to take creative license with a storyline as this author did. There is nothing wrong with that and it irritates me to read someone ranting about the "canon" Halo storyline.
Why not read the story with an open mind to the talent of the author? Why does every Halo story have to be in lock step with what Bungie has promoted as the backstory? Quite frankly I'm tired of reading Master-Chief-shot-the-Elite-and-cracked-the-Grunt-on-the-head stories. This story was a fresh idea, a great story, and now I'm through ranting...

There are several problems with the story. The Covenant are ruled by the Prophets not Elders, and they are a totaly different species. The Pillar of Automn was one of the few Halcyon-class cruisers left. They are not designed to be used in atmosphere at all. Reach was glassed and there were only five survivors. Three were SPARTANs, one was Dr. Halsey and the other was Admiral Whitcomb who died later. Read the novels to gain a better understanding of the HALO universe
That said, it was enjoyable to read.

I... don't know what to say. I read this story straight and it was truly incredibly. Honestly I pretty much teared up at the end. At least Sam and Halo can be together in heaven now :)

I am absolutely speechless. That is the best Halo story I've ever read! Good grief, that should be made into a book or a movie...at the very least a book. You have a terrific talent and I hope to read more of your stories.
