Ah what a cliffhanger. I hope is well and you come back to this story. I enjoyed reading it and love how you wrote Rory’s and Lorelai’s witty banter. Also, like how Christopher is very similar to Rory and they think alike.

Finally she got rid of Dean. No matter what I still don't like him. If he really "loved" her he wouldn't have done what he did. He isn't "perfect" either. I always saw borderline abuse (mental/emotional) he was way to possessive, obsessive, clingy, jealous etc.

Like in other fanfics, I had also seen how Rory can be unfair to her father Christopher bec her tendency was to take the side of her immature and a very bad example in relationships of a mother and she liking Luke more than Chris, But in this example, it was obvious how father and daughter's wit and smart interactions tell that Luke is simply the diner guy who fed Rory junk food and coffee and her Mom's handyman. Because of her immature mother, Rory's own relationship with his father never got a chance to develop. Christopher was not without faults and mistakes but if Lorelai gave him a chance as a person and stopped the arrogance and indecision long time ago on whether she wanted Christopher back in their life or not, then their relationship as co-parents to Rory could have been better and Rory would have a better relationship with his father. Of course if that happened, then the TV series would have ended shorter that it was.

Logan is way smarter than Rory. She doesn't deserve Logan IMO especially with her many insecurities and stunted emotional growth courtesy of her mother.

I know Lorelai has to choose Luke because it will be hypocritical of her character to choose Christopher even if they are more compatible in more ways than Luke because she arrogantly chose to have the middle class life of Stars Hallow. I don't like Luke because for me he is an unlikeable, boring with mediocre intellect person and he doesn't match the intellect level of Lorelai and more so of Rory. I would be bored to death if I have to live with Luke and I am a middle class citizen with average intellect :) As I mentioned in previous comment, if I need a handyman I can hire one. If I need a cook or someone who makes good coffee, I will invest time to learn to cook and make good coffee. Btw, Lorelai don't care for his skills in the kitchen because she survives with take outs and junk food which is actually the subject of recurring and idiotic debates/ arguments between them.

Honestly, I don't see why would someone chose Luke aside from a handyman and a homebody factors. Someone can hire one for that. Christopher is smart and intelligent which I would think where Rory partly got her intelligence from. IMO Lorelai and Christopher are a better match if Lorelai will just stop denying her blue blooded nature/ upbringing that she detest and unfairly associate Christopher with and she would further unfairly extends to Logan. This is the consistent character flaw of Lorelai that I have commonly read.

This is very funny! I love Paris! And this is the first one of the fanfic that had this showed the smart and hilarious interaction between her and Finn. I love it!
