Nice story. I liked the idea of the brain tumor explaining Cole's plan for an alternate reality, I could never quite see how he came upon that one either. I think I will take your idea as the truth :) Thanks for the fic, I enjoyed it.

Nice story.
Personally, i never really understood why Cole went off the deep end myself; he was all right for the first few episodes of Season 5 (Apart from when he hired that Darklighter to attack Paige and Leo), and then he goes and tries to take over the manor?
This certainly made an interesting explanation, all things considered, and at least Cole got one good thing out of all this; one last day witht he woman he loved, after she's left him forever.
How many men get that?

intriguing tale...i like how cole got to see "his" phoebe even knowing she'd never remember and unknowingly sacrificing himself for her and i like how phoebe had a chance to fall for cole all over again even if she hadn't yet met him...bittersweet ending yet fitting in very well to what happened...thanks for sharing!

I really like the first chpt. It's beautifully written and told. It's a great idea looking into Phoebe's future.
