i liked the use of the flashbacks... but i'm feeling like you're doing a lot of backstory. you're doing a lot of filling us in but in that you're kind of letting us know that our favorite characters are different... hermione is lonely, unhappy, and disturbed while ron has been crushed insufferably. goot bery goot.

so i finally started reading this but i don't remember it at all...
have to say it's caught my intention, you weaved an interesting story, eliminating harry and ginny is defintely an interesting plot point. i definately want to see how this ends and promise to read and review every chapter.

I finished the whole thing...and it is one of the best I've seen in a good long while. I had to take a break from reading to eat dinner about 4 chapters from the end, and I couldn't stop thinking about what would happen.

I just read the first chapter of this, and must say, I love it already! I love Hermione/Ron. I only recently got slightly into Hermione/Draco, but I still prefer Ron and Hermione. The description is great and I love the way she says: "For Merlin's sake I feel a flutter every time I see a flash of red"... and the way Harry died after Ginny - because I'm also a Hrry/Ginny shipper! I haven't read the full story and therefore I'll review when I've read it all, and write one of my all famous novels. Sorry - must go back to reading the rest of those ten more chapters! :)

I'm speechless! Ok, where to start? This was an amazing story! Full of twists and turns and dead ends and angst and just the right amount of fluff. Your Hermione is a perfect narrator. The flashback were perfectly placed and used so very well to paint a full picture of what the characters have been through that led to their current desolate lives. Ron's final return home and finally coming to Hermione's place was so wonderful! Finally, he coming to get her. But Hermione had to resist just a bit, and it makes total sense! But in the end, all is better...like you mentioned in the beginning, things get bad before they get good.
And your whole final bit: "You loved me Ron. You loved me,...Anyway, I rather like the rain." OMG, that's what left me so utterly speechless, you have great talent and the way you ended the story was so perfect. "Anyway, I rather like the rain"...wow, a seemingly simple statement at the very end that has so much meaning...them dancing in the rain. An amazing ending to an amazing story :D! Really lovely! Weasleygirl-ca.

Oh dear, so many twists, I love it! The "needed to get away for a bit" would hurt! Oh my, what a blow! But I'm getting ahead of myself. I really love how you had Ron trying to make her mad (with the nagging thing) because he thought she had come to make things worse...when I think, secretly, he likes to be nagged at by his dear Hermione. No! Go back Hermione! Well, I can't blame her. Ron is really messed up but he shouldn't have left her. They had each other after all. But oh the angsty romance is the best! And the kiss, very nice :D! "I looked into his blue eyes; they were by far the prettiest eyes I had ever seen. Although I would never tell Ron that because his ears would probably turn pink and he'd tell me I’m mental." That line is so cute and funny and so very true. I've always imagined Ron with the most beautiful eyes! I hope everything works out! I want to hug them!

Oh dear, I'm all teary again! Harry's dead and everyone is devastated. To think that Harry survived everything, including Voldemort but in the end, Voldemort got him, indirectly. "Not everyone my dear, you still have Ron," How sad and sadly ironic! Hermione has just got to go and find Ron and bring him back! Please!

Wow, Ron is really a bit nutty...what a great twist (not that I want him to stay crazy, but it explains a lot). Oh, poor, poor Ron! And Hermione! I love how you tell us all the little things Hermione is thinking in the story. And I also love how you're piecing together the whole story by switching between present and past. I like Jerry’s character too…he’s a bit mean but obviously a good boss. What’s going to happen to Ron? I'm so hooked...must continue reading!
