Okay...there is absolutely no way that anyone, even a crazy pirate (and any kid of Jack's is just a little crazy)could simply jump fifty feet down into water and not be harmed. It was bad enough when they did that with Elizabeth in the movie..I like what was said in a PotC parody I read.

I'm suddenly okay, in spite of my 60-foot drop into extremely shallow and rocky water!
I understand that your water was not shallow or rocky, but it was STILL a long drop. She would have been knocked unconscious at least, no doubt about it. My uncle, who is about as old as I am (wierd, ain't it?)was stupid and jumped off of a high pier once (it was nearly fifty feet I think) and was knocked unconscious by the force of the water impact. (my other uncle, who's older, had to run down the grass and sand slope and then dive into the water at a safer height. He's still stupid, but he learned his lesson)
Other than that, I have no complaints.
I thought that Gabrielle was absolutely ADORABLE! You got the scene between her and Jack PERFECTLY! That's just how Jack would act in that situation, lol! Kudos to you!
