Lol. You've done a great work with this song-fic. The strain in Inuyasha's and Kagome's relationship actually seems like a possibility that can come true if they continue to comunicate the way they do when they're angry. So, I guess that means you've kept them in character. Good work.
You write fluently and at a pace that seems natural for the story. Your description of what the character feel is throughout and it's easy for the readers to put themselves in the character's place. Meaning, I really felt the angst that Inuyasha and Kagome must've felt.
I really think this one-shot was good and I urge you to continue writing. You've got talent and you should keep using it.
