Hey, I was wondering if you had finished the story or if you just haven't updated yet. Maybe, I'm just wishing a little too hard. The bros don't come back, and April dies in mourning. My grandma is on that edge. She's mourning the loss of her husband, and maybe has another year or two left before her broken, lonely heart kills her. I feel like that is how this story ends, with Stockman dead, Karai left to lead, and Raph and Leo dead. I don't know why, but it makes me wish for happier times, for a reprieve, for a day where all of them play and smile and laugh. They seem so old now, though that was not how they were portrayed. One last battle, one last time, and Leo is only back for so long. Ugh! It makes me feel so sad, I feel like my soul is crying instead of my eyes, which at the moment, are not. I was already begging the last chapter not to kill them. They have such a cherished place in my heart, even though they are a fantasy.

I make it a point to avoid WIPs...I hate getting sucked into a great story only to be let down be its incompleteness...however, I’ve seen this story mentioned all over FF and decided it was worth giving it a read...even with no ending.
I wasn’t disappointed. This story is amazing. Very few have tackled not only some being gone, but the survivors having problems dealing with it. I was hooked from the first chapter. Whether or not you ever finish this story thank you for sharing what you have with us.
I hope you are doing well and that you come back to finish it at some point...we won’t question why you’ve been gone for so long, we’ll cheer because you’re back! Right now both Ralph and Leo are in peril and I hope to one day see them reunited and safe!

OMG I had to marathon read this as soon as I found it. Your prose is so poetic! Usually major character death is too much for my fragile heart, but the way you've crafted the heartwrenching reaction to loss has been so overwhelmingly addictive I couldn't NOT keep reading! I wish I could go back in time to read this again with fresh eyes, so good

My goodness where do I even begin? This fic is absolutely *phenomenal*, undoubtedly one of the best I've ever read. The way flashbacks are interwoven into the story is incredibly effective, and April's dream sequence in Ch. 22? The most realistic dream sequence I've ever read. It was like something I would've dreamed. It had that strange quality that dreams have, where things make sense and don't at the same time. My goodness I am absolutely floored at how wonderfully this fic is written, and I adore how you write Raph, April, and their interactions and relationship. Thank you so so much for writing this fic, and if you ever continue it I will definitely be here to read! 3

So...I discovered this story yesterday 1/18/17 and read it all. Didn't realize it was unfinished! This was seriously amazing...I'm at a bit of a loss because I know it will probably never be finished, but I thought maybe if one more person begged you this could tip the scales! Your writing is just perfect...I think this is the best fanfic I've ever read. Even if you don't finish...I'm still glad I got to read at least this much. Thanks!

This is hands down one of the best fanfics I've ever read. I could not read through one chapter without crying. Oh frick poor raphie. He's delt with SO much on his shoulders.
And my oh my how you ended it with Leo coming to his senses! Ahh you are killing me! I just want Raph to see Leo himself again. And Leo to remember Raphs name and be home.
The fact that Raph keeps a piece of Dons shell on him kills me. And how Mikey was so busted up, how he screamed in pain. Oh mother of pearl this story has kept me awake until 3 in the morning for two days stright! I've spent all my free time reading this. I really wish you would finish it. It would need two more chapters tops with how long you write them. Thank you for writing this much though, it's so different than any other tmnt stories I've come across. I hope everything is going okay for you(: and don't be shy to update anytime soon. I followed & favorited this just in case
