A truly amazing story. Following a similar vein as in Miranda Fairgold's Trilogy, I actually like Anarkia more. Possibly because while Julian isn't Harry and Nightshade is his family, he seems more human. Fairgold's character seemed to lose touch with that becoming almost more emotionless than the vampire's he was surrounded by.
I hope your story is completed some day.

I love this story I hope you eventually finish it even if it is to rewrite this story as a non-harry potter story and publish it in the real world. I think is too good of a story/concept to be left unfinished. It is one of the best harry potter fanfiction stories I have read. I hope you continue to write even if it is not in the fanfiction area because you are good at it.

This was incredible. It took an idea explored by many fics before it and made it into something so much better. It is disappointing that it has been abandoned but it still was definitely worth the read.

I found this to be quite excellent, I particularly like the quite unique AU and the world crafting surrounding it - even if Julian is quite over powered. Shame to see it hasn't been updated for some time but life will happen, one way or another.
The weakest aspect was the broken nature of the challenge system, allowing the challenger to set the nature of the combat at best makes for a lot of instability in the 'Dux' position, as most people simply are not good at everything - it is probably fortunate he was not challenged in Necromancy for example.
The strongest aspect is probably the character of Julian himself. Despite being a multifaceted character, and basically an original character, he acts in a satisfyingly consistent manner. I think he has at least four different ways in which he presents himself, depending on the overriding needs of the situation, but all seem entirely true to who he is.
Overall, I think this is a very good story and quite promising, so I'm following it, just in case it randomly gets resurrected P.
