Very well done, you've done a very good job so far at making it enjoyable without needing to be familiar with Lovecraft's work. It really is a shame to see such a good story abandoned for so long.

Man this story is awsome so far I must admit I am thouroughly confused and would like to know exactly what happend to Ron, but I guess that will have to wait. This is the second story that I've read inspired by Lovecraft I think I need to check out this guys stuff it seems pretty intense. I see that it's been a while since you've updated (same here), but this is a good story that I hope you don't let go by the wayside. I mean we never even got the chicks name that saved Ron's life (or we did and I wasn't paying attention) and the pact that Ron entered into is he turning into a merman or something? Well I hope a new chapter comes out soon for it cause this is a great story.

As an english major (With a minor in Lovecraftian) at miskatonic, I must say this story was far better than i thought it would be. Alluding, but not ripping off, the mythos, you have created somthing so unique, it gives me faith in humanity. the Humor, Good, The drama, great. the forboding sense of terror that comes from knowing things that should not be, spectacular. the song lyrics as chapter stops was good too. Pink Floyd, Sabbath, and Zombie. good choices.

There is, like, NEVER enough H. P. Lovecraft stuff here. (Of course, that might be because no one spell 'cthulhu' right).
I have a bit of an idea. Maybe some of the Mythos people help them? (I've never seen this show, sue me). I like th Whateley twins and Richard Pickman, so maybe you could put them in, as well . . .

Great story. Sorry I missed this way back as it was a very interesting read. I have to say you must finish this story or you'll leave me forever wondering what the heck is going on. I'm actually interested in checking out Lovecraft stuff after reading this though I'll have to avoid the crazy cult followers that seem to be there.
Anyway the way your handled the subconcious fear Ron has of the events that occured has left me shocked. That and the big words used. I usually don't have to look anything up but I found myself going to the dictionary a few times. I assume your a college man considering the words and the concepts used in here.
The inner conflict we have going one with Ron and Kim is also working well. You got Kim in character in the way that she expresses herself in a more pyhsical way. If you watch the series she tends to touch Ron while Ron tends to tell her what he feels. Still don't know if she loves him or is just his friend at this point. I sense jealousy though at points so I'm thinking there is potential for a K/R ending in this. Well looking forward to more when you get around to updating this.
