I still enjoy your stories and you said that they are a part of you...well they are a part of me too! I can't wait to read each new chapter in the tale of Astrid.
I don't mind all the OC's, it makes the story seem more real. And when it flows its nice and easygoing and it seems like real life, as if the readers are cast back into the times of piracy. You capture the time era very well and explain propriety even better than the dictionary does!
Thank you for giving me some real imagination fuel to keep me reading onwards. Thank you.

I wanted to let you know I'm still reading and even though I'm not reviewing I love it. I mean it's not like I'm sitting on the edge of my seat in these chapters but they're not at all boring like you say. I would review more often but I never seem to have time. I'll try to be better though. You need encouragment! Only 4 reviews? I hope you get more for this chapter

Whoa. One relationship makes up and another continues to crumble. Now THAT'S a real rity :(
I know I keep going on about this, but I'm still just dumbfounded with the way he's acting. I mean, I understand his want to protect her and all, but still. He IS the one who decided to come along. Interesting.

Wow! Great chapter. You really are a master of character development! No matter how much trouble she gets into, you can't help but love Astrid-and you've done a very good job of expressing the conflict she feels between Roland and the boys and Bennett. Cheers! Can't wait for the next chapter (and KEEP 'EM LONG!)

Another great chapter! You do a great job at really fleshing out the whole world-it's not at all two-dimensional, which is a welcome break after many stories!
*shiver* Lonan gives me the chills... *shiver*
As for Bennett and Roland... UGH! Talk about holding a grudge too long...

But I shouldn't be speaking should I? Sorry I haven't really reviewed (think I might've once for 'Astrid', but I can't really remember). I have no excuses, other than that I wanted to get onto the next chapter without delay. Is my sucking up working?
I've noticed you always apologize for long chapters. WHY? Long chapters are the best! I don't think I've ever read a chapter of yours that I haven't liked-maybe some more than others, but that's the way of things. As my mentor (and fellow author) Tom always tells me, it doesn't matter how long a chapter is as long as you get in everything you wanted to get in. I should know-my shortest chapter ever on ffnet was three pages, and the longest was sixteen. Heh, that one was fun.
Anywho, I absolutely love all of your OCs (well, except for Griffith, of course). Cavanaugh reminds me of the doctor from Master and Commander... m... forget his name, but he was damn hot. :)
Your style is very easy to read, as well-in fact, I'm rather jealous. I SUCK at writing in first person. Keep at it-maybe I'll learn a thing or two! I've also seen very few grammar mistakes or spelling boo-boos, so tell your beta thanks from me!
Well, this is now officially the longest review I've ever written, but I figure it's penance for being such a horrible reader. Please continue! I vow from here on out that I'll review every single chapter you post!
