I am enjoying the back-story. We know from the beginning there is going to be some altercation with Riddle while she is still at school but this is setting it up nicely. I am looking forward to more updates like this 3 pack of chapters.

Good... I'm glad to be promised some AD/MM! I hate reading stories where you *think* two people are going to end up together in the end, but you spend hours and hours reading only to find that nothing of the sort was ever intended!
*sighs*
Anyway, this is still looking to be a great little fic. I like it how you mention McGonagall's 'rare smiles', even as a child.
Well, onto the next chappie!
