I'm thoroughly enjoying this, though the expression 'smiled evilly' gets a tad repeating chapter after chapter. In my opinion, 'sneered' or 'gave an ugly smirk', etc. could be used to avoid repetition. :)

I liked Tom a lot but I really start to hate his character as we get further into the story. He went from someone I believed to actually caring for Harry to a rude, conceited, manipulative asshat who I using Harry for his own gain. Harry should have never needed to apologize for wanting to see his godfather or for wanting to be an auror.
