Come back and write more now that I’ve rediscovered you after a decade (I used to be Longing for Leo but lost the log in info for that account...I hope you haven’t lost the log in info for yours & you’re ok living an awesome busy life, but I also hope that you come back to write more TMNT fics!

Thank you for this wonderful story that gives the reader a glimpse inside the mysterious mind of Splinter. It's a touching narrative well written with beautiful descriptions.

He who is like God
Strong as the Lion
Given by God
God has Healed
Yes I'm very interested in the reasoning behind the names Splinter has given to each of his sons, particularly Raphael's story. Unless the genesis of his name sparked from a life threatening event that he survived through, his name seems more of a prayer on Splinter's part than an inspiration based on his personality.

Wow I caught the references to Christianity but neverless this was really deep. I know splinter loved mikey as a child regardless but this showed that parents(Especially new ones) get quickly impatient and it made me respect Splinter more. Adorable and dramatic

I neglected to leave a review for this work of art.
My apologies...
...it was simply beautiful.
I cannot really describe this sweet beauty, but I crown it the top Turtle Tot Fiction I've ever read.

There are no words to describe the power in this story. It's a work of true beauty.

I would love love LOVE to hear of the remaining three names. Dont know if this is a dead thread for you now, but just putting it out there anyways.

This was so beautifully written I was so disappointed when it ended. Is it just me or was that a cheesy line? Well anyways, I really liked the spiritual aspect of the story. It fit well with the way that Splinter thinks. And I agree with you that he does most things, if not everything, with such devotion and deliberation, and naming his children and (new family) would be no different.
Please consider writing about the 3 other names! :)

This is really very lovely. I love stories that explore the history stuff. I hope you write your take on the naming of the other turtles as well.
