Sorry, but it does not match up that Sagacious Tien has passed to the other realm. ST like any one is judged on the Great Wheel of Life. I guess it could happen, if he was granted his own piece of heaven by the heavens - but since that is not in your story, i guess you have that part. Sorry. But a good story else.

I really like this insight into Li's thoughts. Highly enjoyable, though I do agree that it seemed to weaken a little towards the end.

Interesting thoughts... Sun Li seems to have mellowed in his old age. ;) I enjoyed reading this little oneshot... would have been happy to see Li's character explored a little more, but it stands as it is.

Great story, it brings a enitlry new perspective to an "evil" charcter. You bring the theme of "The five people you meet in heaven", that all our lives are intertwined. Yet, you still don't have me convinced. First, of all the spirtmonks denied the Emperor because if they brought back the water, another nation would feel the drought. Sun Lei kills alot of people throught the story, he's a martial arts expert. Cant he just knock them out. Also, Master Lee left his family to die when the had almost no influence on your "charcter" in the story. Besides these basic flaws, I think your a great philiosphical writer. Keep it up!

It was quite good!
To improve it, I think the last few lines could be either shortened or improved somehow. It just felt, when I was reading it, that it lost focus or impact somehow...
