I always cry at weddings and this was no exception. Nice descriptions. I really like the way you've done Original Cindy. Her speech patterns and behaviour are very appropriate to the character. Glad some of the old crowd could be there, too. Nice touch with the locket. :)
Max's confusion about the wedding rituals is perfectly natural.
Favourite lines:
“No. I was just waiting for the interruption. We always get interrupted when we are getting to the good stuff ... Sorry.”
(LOL! Ain't it the truth?)
“Mommy's orders-I gotta shave or we don't get married.” Logan smiles at him through the foam.
“Maybe I better shave too or she won't adopt me.”
(Very cute exchange.)

Sorry I took so long to actually file a review. I think I was in a fluff induced coma for awhile there. That and for some unknown reason I thought I already reviewed this ;)
This is definitely the sweetest, fluffiest, story I’ve ever read.
If anyone ever gets around to defining what ‘mooch’ is to me; it is probably that too.
Could have used a few more details in the “etc” part, but … nothing is perfect.

Things I liked in particular: The talking about the unusual way they reached the family status, taking pictures (so normal, somehow), OC’s worry, the locket and of course all the cute descriptions of little Brian.
Favourite sentences:

Makes sense for them to get out of Seattle. If they're going to do this, doing it right is the only way with Manitcore still a concern.
I hope Max and Logan can find *some* time for themselves - and soon! And certainly, turn off the ringer on the phone, lol. ;)
But... balloons! And lots of kisses! Brian is very sweet. I look forward to reading the next chapter and suspect a wedding will be involved. I always cry at weddings...

Max and Logan are both, for different reasons, not in ideal circumstances for taking on the responsibility of a child so things would certainly have to change. I think of Logan's words not being so much 'devil's advocate' but a reality check, as it were, though no doubt Max is aware of what will be required. It's good that Logan is grounded.
I'm glad they found a relative. Max and Logan have been very isolated in their own lives and it'll help Brian to reconnect with someone who knew and cared for his mother.
I look forward to reading more. Thank you for sharing this story.
