It's not too fast like the other sandlot stories. And it's not predictable either .
I also like what you did to Phillips I'm starting to warm up to his character. :D

This story is really great! Thank you for taking the time out to write it, although I don't know if you still go onto this site. You have a amazing talent. Everything was so believable and real. I really liked this. Thank you again for writing it!

*Frustrated sigh* Incomplete! This story is incomplete and totally changed from what you had before! And you changed the heroine's name back to Janie when you had her as Elaine in the 8th chapter as well as in your avi! Not that I don't like the name Janie. I do like it. I think it's adorable and it fits her better than Elaine does but still! Do you have her as Elaine in your sequel or as Janie? I WOULD go read it myself BUT I hvae no choice but to assume that A Thousand Paper Cranes 2 actually is a sequel since adding a '2' to the same title as the first generally means a sequel. :/

Alright, now I (hope) you know that I'm a HUGE fan of this fic HOWEVER, I still find myself disappointged in you!
1. You keep changing the story! I have read it a few times hoping you've fixed the mistakes you said you were going to the last time we spoke but since it had been such a long time I can't fully remember what changes I wanted. But I do recongize some scenes so I know you didn't change much. You just compartmentalized your story a bit. I remember there being a lot more details than what I've been reading. Granted I'm at the 8th chapter and there's more for me to read but still. It's a little confusing as a reader who is a fan of the movie and of this fic to see constant changes because the author can't seem to make up her mind on how she wants to story to be.
2. You changed the heroine's name! In the first 7 chapters her name is Janie and in this chapter she's Elaine. And I'm not sure, as I said it's been a while, but I think you changed the other characters names sllightly. I'll find out in later chapters I'm sure of it. Again, it brings me back to your indecisive nature. Atleast that's what you're portraying. It's frustrating to say the least.
3. Is this fic even completed? I hope so because I noticed you still have the sequel up and I recall being very upset with you for starting on a sequel when this one wasn't even finished.
Look, I'm not trying to bust any balls or anything. I'm just a little annoyed that you keep rewriting and reposting and making so many changes when this story was perfect as it was. And then to have a sequel posted when this one isn't completed? That, in my honest and personal opinion, feels so wrong and extremely unorthodox as a writer.
I understand that when you love a story so much you think ahead of it and begin to write a sequel when you're not even through with the first but to post it? Couldn't you have waited to complete this before posting the other? What if a reader like myself, who isn't sure whether the first was completed, goes off and reads the sequel? I feel cheated. :/
*sigh* I, of course, will continue with this and hope it's completed so that I can read the sequel because I've been wanting to read it but restrained myself from doing so because I wanted to finish this one. This fic is really, really good. It's good writing, it's funny and sweet, it's practically perfect! Just... no more changes please. And if you? Please let us readers know. Because I sure as hell didn't and I felt cheated. :(

I really like this story, but I have just one question...this has been bugging me...
Why is her name Janie? I thought her name was Elaine, and Benny called her Lanie. Then it suddenly became Janie; where did the J come from?
