Great story. I love having Paul Davis in these stories; he's one of my favorite secondary characters. And what he did when he heard Pete blabbing about the Stargate program, and then taking him to Jack - priceless. And the last being Pete forced to tell Sam what a REALLY bad boy he'd been. Way to humiliate a guy. He deserved it, though.

Whoa ... I wish I could write Jack like this, but I'm better at the goofy-Jack stuff than the dangerous-Jack stuff. The man just kicks ass, and so does this story. I hope this isn't it, though! (Pouts and makes puppy-dog eyes - PLEASE!)
I'm also glad you had Jack quite liking Pete at first. It's good to see a fic where he isn't being dog in the manger-ish. He's happy if Sam's happy - so sweet.
And again - MORE SOON! Oh, listen to me whine!
