Words do not describe how much I love this. It made me smile and laugh and cry and was just really enjoyable. Very well written. Great fic. :)

I loved your story. It filled in so many gaps that Joss did not get to do on Firefly. If it had continued into more seasons, that is how I think Joss would have told it. It was one of the best FF that I have ever read. I hope to find more F/S stories by you. Thank you for posting this book.

Beautifully written - Zoe's voice is pitch perfect. So glad I stumbled upon this!

This is perfect :) Zoe never seems too sentimental...

This is one amazing story. I have read it several times and it makes me cry every single time. They're the most beautifully complicated couple I've every loved to read about. I am a HUGE fan of Firefly and Serenity and I've always loved how these two have worked so well together. And then when I read your story it just all made sense like none of it was made up. Every last bit of this was true. Great writing skill and I am looking forward to reading more of your stories :) Keep Looking up at the stars!

Started crying at the end of this - so sad for Zoe. But let's focus on the happy. I loved how you used Ted and Bernard to encourage Zoe to stand up to Mal. And Wash trying to get some of his chapel rental deposit back after Zoe leaves him at the alter. His 'proposal' and her initial reaction. Lots and lots of sweet and touching things.

Favorite lines: "A good shot and a clear head got her further than a good tube of lipstick, but she still preferred to carry all three" and "would have thought he'd seen heaven alive, the way he reacted when he saw her face."

Favorite passage: "She was captivated by the way he moved. The way he laughed, the way he flew. The way he cared, the way he didn't care. The way he made her feel inside."

By the way, I don't know why you rated this 'M'. There's really nothing non-PG in here. You should downgrade it, maybe 'T' at most. Then more readers would see it, as the search engine defaults to leaving out 'M' fiction.

You perfectly captured both of their characters in this. I especially loved Zoe's voice. Seriously well done, I was crying at the end! Thanks for a great story.

I've only recently become a fan of Firefly, so this was the first fic for it that I read. And I loved it! It was sweet and sad at the same time, and perfectly in character. There were times when one or two sentences seemed to be missing words, but other than that, nothing to concrit, really. I loved the beginning, and the ending was so sad. Wash's death was always the saddest part of the film for me, so I'm glad you elaborated on that scene and the effect it would have on Zoe.

This is an amazingly beautiful story, and I just wanted to commend you for writing the definitive Wash/Zoe story.

Wow. Just... wow. ^_^

That was definately one of the best fanfictions on this site. I'm probably just repeating stuff people've said in past reviews, but you captured the characters so very well, from quirks to quibbles., and... well... Unlike a lot of fanfictions, this seemed like something that would have actually happened with the characters. It seemed like this sequence of events might well have been the true one. -nods-

The only complaints I have are few, and don't really matter, as they're just little technical things, like how not every place that needed a transition seemed to have one. Also, there were one or two typos hither and thither, such as one place where you had "eying" instead of "eyeing."

Other than small things like that, though, this was written very well! And I must say, I very much enjoyed the dinosaurs... -shifty eyes- They made me laugh. ^_^

Anyway, once again, this's among the best fanfics on this site!

Accolades for you! And Kudos... and... um... much praise... and... uh... the plastic dinosaur award... -shifty eyes again-

Oh well... Thank you for writing something so lovely and thoroughly enjoyable!

I loved this fanfiction. Though it told the story just as it was you put in your own bits and pieces. I think it was beatifuly written and somehow the words just floated. a very sad and beatiful ending. I was almost in tears! I look forward to more of your work!

That was one of the most beautiful and poignant pieces of writing I've ever read.

This is probably the third time I've read this story. I don't know why I keep reading it. I think I cry a little more each time I read it. It's a beautiful, beautiful story. Perfect. I honestly don't think I've ever mourned the death of a fictional character in the way that I mourn Wash. I think this line defines the relationship between Wash and Zoe to me: "Wash didn’t harden her. He did the opposite. Wasn’t the losing that mattered, so much as it was the having."

Bravo.
