I check back in every few month to see whether you've updated, this is honestly one of my all time favourite fanfics, if not my favourite
I am absolutely in love with the story, the characters, and I just stayed up until 4:30 in the morning to read the new chapter (and the previous 2, to rémember where were we)
Just like you wrote you've grown up writing it, I've grown a lot since I've read it for the first time - started and finished high school, started uni, and in a few months I will be a doctor of pharmacy. I don't really know why I write it down, well.
This story is amazing , the characters, the dialogues, how not everything and everyone is black and white, and whenever I read it I become hungry for more, to know where this story goes, what will happen with the characters, and what will become of those damned cliffhangers, arggh:D
I don't know why, but this story means a lot to me, and I can't wait to read more of it:)

I know I’ve said this multiple times but Petal in the Rain is my absolute favorite fanfiction story ever. I get so thrilled whenever there’s an update and I’m so grateful that you’re still updating this story and coming back to it all these years later. I feel like I have grown up with you and your characters and I still remember the rainy day in high school that I found this story and stayed up all night reading it. More than a decade later I too am married, purchased a home, and am being a grown up but still looking for those pockets in life where I have spare time to escape and live in magic once more. Thank you for sharing that with us and letting us continue to live vicariously through this story even after so much time has passed. I savored this chapter as I got to reread the entire story over again. I love what you’ve done to Regulus’s character here and I continue to love the beautiful world you’ve created. Please take care and looking forward to the next one.

I first read this fanfic many years ago when it had fewer chapters and I was anxious to know what was going to happen. It just so happened that I came upon this fanfic again on a Jily binge and I am so glad I decided to read it. I'm very much enjoying this and am really looking forward to the next chapter. I can't live much longer on a cliff hanger!
James and Lily's relationship makes me envious and is one of the things keeping me going. I hope to read a new chapter soon. Thank you for updating again after so many years ;)

I reread it all from the beginning and I fell in love with it again. Lily/Lady Aurora Rockford is just... so great. I fall in love with her character and the story and I’m rambling but it’s because I love it.
I also think that Lily’s friendship with Amelia and Nymphadora is brilliant—it shows that she’s not forgotten who she used to be/partly still is.
Rudolf is a great OC. Every interaction with him makes me smile.
