this is absolutely beautiful. a truly original take, and one that, whilst it does not immediately spring to mind, seems utterly obvious after reading.

Hey. This is so much like first chapter book four, you know, when JK talks about the Riddle Manor. I mean with all that about the villagers (sp?) and stuff. Anyway, I like it. I just don't know about Tonks crying, I mean she - after all - never knew Lily or James, however I guess she would have her reasons - given that she loves Remus and all. It's cool he took Sirius, though, that I liked a lot. So, hope you do continue this. I'm most definately in love with the fact that they are finally together! Keep the good work up! I'll ass this story to my author alert list, because I am really looking forward to see the rest. TaTa!

There are some mistakes...you might have wanted to run this through a beta before you posted it. It's fairly well written, and it wasn't overly confusing.
The best advice I have is to keep writing. You've got potential, but you're making little mistakes that you shouldn't be making.
Kudos for originality.
