Awesome chapter! I just loved how you choregraphed the fight sequences. You do it in such a way to move the action and story along. Not too detailed but detailed enough where the chapter still catches people's interest.
I loved that Raph and Don were using different weapons than their traditional ones. They may have mastered their own weapon but that doesn't mean they are not martial artists who have mastered OTHER weapons.

Another great addition. Looks like things will soon come to a head. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Pretty awesome stuff... you know I was looking for something quite like this, decided to try a section I hadn't really looked at before. I read it from the start a few days ago. I like the themes, the moods you set, everything is extremely good from start til now...
Now you've left me looking at what else you've written, that's going to take some time :).

The neverending story ^^.
Great one! "Splinter bit back a remark about needing the proper music"- Buahahaha! Really great one!
And the "Raph, she used words I’ve never heard you use before.” was great, too. I have to reread the story soon from the beginning...
Go on!

Yowie! I'm addicted again! I had no idea you'd written a sequel, and it took me a day and a half to catch up! You've once again proven you're flair for intense and intriguing plots and subplots, and I am far more than satisfied. I cannot wait for the next update! LOL, Tera.

Wow-stunning action sequences here, Cyn. I love the way you show us the carefully choreographed invasion/rescue with just enough detail. We're right there in the thick of it.
Splinter is so cool... "proper music" ::snicker::
One nit pick, you used the phrase "even as" a lot; enough that it leaped out at me.
But the rest of the prose in here is delicious. I *love* this: Her breath caught in her throat at the sight- he was terrible to behold, a warrior of great skill- he stood in the smoke, the blood of his conquest painting him with the awful truth of his victory.
But-but-*what happened* between Leo and Karai? He just vanished and left her charging thin air? Ackk!
I guess we'll have to wait for that show-down (oh, please please please) in some future chapter.
Overall, just lovely writing...;o)

An update on Newyear? How sweet~ XD; and Ii'm sure Karai had offically lost it, the poor girl just cant think stright anymore; she and Chaplin should get together, might distract her long enough to either kill her, (or him, XD;) or get her back to normal somehow...
But question is, would anyone care if she got back to normal? I kinda think Leo just shoved her to the back of his mind and just tries to no longer care... lets see how far he goes. Raph got some kicks from the fight, Mike'srole was so subtle I nearly forgot he was there untill the boots part came up.. calm before the storm? 8D;
Oh, and you're not planning on sticking Victor and Baker togather, are you? I think Hun might wanna know what's the big deal witht he Bishop-wannabe; if they ever see the resemblance, anyway...

Wow. You only continue to amaze me. Both this and its prequel are stunningly written. I can't stop reading, they're such page-turners, and the family atmosphere with the turtles and their father is very authentic.
I did suspect that something terrible would happen Splinter when i reached chapter 22, i just felt that since he was being so protective and Leo was not appreciating it, it would only forshadow some serious angst and heartache when something happened to their father later on. I actually thought you would kill him and leave the boys in their grief, because it would be so stunning and painful but also so very realistic and impactful. But this kidnapping of Splinter feels like almost ominous after the prequel. Last time it happened, the two boys killed Bishop, so what will happen this time, and will splinter get out alive?
And also there was that vision that Splinter had so long ago of his four sons dying. Now, i know that was part of a whole different thing that passed with splinter getting followed home, but it was still a vision, and visions don't necessarily follow a true timeline. It still feels like a premonition of all four of his babies getting killed together in front of him somewhere. It's got to still haunt sensei to some extent, ne?
I'm very excited to read the next part, and also am looking forward to the next chibi fic you think up. :)

Awesome chapter, Cyn! You totally rock! Well, it looks like the rats are on the search for Victor. I can't wait to see what happens next. Update soon when you get the chance. I'm really loving this story! You are an awesome writer!

I thought I reviewed this chapter here, but I think I only did it on SS. Anywho, great chapter. I can't wait to read the next one. Well written as usual.
