For your first Kurogane/Fai, that was superb. I've been nosing around fics with this pairing lately, and some of them are a little off on the personalities of one or both of the characters. But yours isn't. And your Fai is spot on. It was angsty-sweet, and I love it.

Oh this is really good! It almost made me cry. The death scene could be improved though. I also liked the foreshadowing you used at the end. Kudos to a well written one-shot!
