Being a big fan of Robotech/Macross myself I am slightly saddened that it took me this long to discover your fic here. However, I think you do a very good job of capture some of the tension between Rick and Lisa, and even some of the internal conflict within Rick as to whether or not Minmei is the girl for him (which don't beliive she is, but to be fair I did marry a girl named Lisa). I would like to see you expand this and have more interaction between Rick and Lisa as they continue to make that transition from friend to lover.

Awe! That is soo cute Sith! Her anda kitten. I liked the one shot, it was nicley done and well written. The scene was straight on, very in character.

Such a cute story. I have often wondered what Rick must have thought when Lisa gave him those photographs of her. I am glad to see someone else wondered about that too. :)

I am pretty clueless on the world of macross and robotech. That said, I'm quite impressed with how you merge the technical, military scene and setting (even with little gestures like putting an envelope in the front pocket of a flight suit) with very natural and engaging human interactions through dialog and body gestures. I'm thinking, wow, this person knows what it's like to be in a place like this (I'm reading into your "tour of duty" line)-even in a made-up, scifi fictional world, your writing comes across as authentic.

oh it was so close... Rick must have been really tired to not have a reaction about those photos... I would have thought a "what the..." coming from him. After all, Rick is very tempestuous, very clueless and very confused about women behavior, especially Lisa's.
What I meant by the so close statement is that you were building towards something and you didn't pay it off at the end. Or maybe you did, I mean we all have our own opinions of Rick so maybe to you he reacts in a different way.
Anyway my two cents are all in now.
