That was really cute, the way Mikey kept bringing all the animals home! I can just imagine that horse in the lair.
I was a bit confused about who was thinking, "Wow! The horse's name was Mikey?" At first I thought it was Splinter, as the rest of the story had been in his POV. But I can't picture Splinter using the word 'wow'.
Anyway, this was really funny and cute.

That was so well done that the 'suspend your disbelief' warning was completely unnecessary. You took care of that for us.
The part about wanting a sister was too rich! As if Splinter doesn't have enough little menaces running about...

what do you mean "suspend disbelief"? it was all perfectly believable to me! who wouldn't want a horse? the best way for Splinter to explain to Mikey why NOT to take someone else's horse is to describe the penalty such a theft provokes. but maybe they've seen enuf westerns on TV to know about that. a real neat bit of work, thank you!

Was starting to wonder just how Mikey had managed to liberate something from the zoo, or had he dragged home the albino croc? Soon as he called it 'Silver' though I guessed it, the fact the beastie was brown just clinched it. lol!
And I always thought Mikey would love to have a sister.

That was great! That was soo funny! You do discriptions so well I felt as if I were standing there watching this story unfold, I liked the hole idea about Mikey bringing home a turtle and asking Master Splinter if he could make it a baby sister for him, that was cute.
