This is one of the more original D&J fics I've ever read. Does Drake seriously believe he's goning to find a way to resurrect himself? Or is he merely in some serious death denial? Poor Josh, having the burden of keeping that sort of secret. It's enough to drive a guy crazy. Well, good job, and I hope you update again soon.

A little tidbit, I don't know if it'll help
you, but if you ever watched those spirits
stories on TV they always point out that
the reason ghosts like say in Drake's
case are still at home and didn't go to Heaven
yet, is because there is unfinished
business they need to do before they
can do so.
