It's not a bad story
The one thing I'd make a comment on is the money in this chapter:
"Five pounds ($70 USA dollars or ten galleons).”
Five pounds is equal to about $7 US dollars, as opposed to $70, or 1 galleon.
So the £35 he gets in the end would be about $49 or 7 galleons, which is a lot fairer.
