What a cliffhanger. This could be interesting. I don't blame Splinter for being surprised my Mikey's reactions. I would have been too. Well, good chapter, update soon!

"Can I hit Leo next?" Heh...that is such a Raph thing to say. Made me giggle.

Eep...you can't leave us there!

Ah, how I enjoy your representation of chibi turtles...and Splinter of course.

Update soon! Please!

Oh noo! You got me on the edge of my seat here now! Great writing as usual - you got writing Splinter in the first person right down to a T! So looking forward to the next chapter!

Yes, I had a great time visiting with you and BL. I think I smiled all the way home! :0)

However, as for this chapter.,.,.,.,.,

@-@ You evil authoress, you! Ending this chapter on such a horrific cliffie! GAK.,.I shall be in misery lest you update speedily.

In other words, get youer fingers typing, gal, otherwise I'll sick Raph on ya!

*rein inhales deeply and tries to calm her racing heart*

Nice chapter.

Loved the part about Mikey kicking Leo and then Don and Raph wanting in on the fun! LOL Very funny.

Then, Raph's verbalizing the lesson and suddenly wondering why 'Ken' was part of it! LOL

Oh, and Splinter's remark about Leo and Mike's relationship, how "they would not even look at each other it seemed, but at least it was quite!" With a household (or lair-hold) of active toddlers, quiet is a bit of an oxymoron, eh? LOL

Anyway, this was a wonderful and nicely written chapter! It DEFINITELY begs for more, though, so - once again - type quickly! LOL

Be blessed,

Rene'

O_o; oh dear me! the kids were attacked when he was away? Now I'm guessing Mike and Leo made a team and kicked his butt? Hope Raph had fun beating the guy to dare invade their home! and honestly, drug addicts should be cooped up in jail till the police are SURE he wont do it again... or, lets hope it does, *shurg*

now, I see a crack in the Leo-Mike brotherly relashionship, so I hope this little 'invasion' helps mend that crack back together! They're distant enough in the show as it is, they need more time together... (like the one they're about to share in another story *hinthint* update soon ;p

I loved it! They may be more advanced, but jealousy is something that all children deal with! I love it!

Okay, husband upgraded our PC security and - disabled popups. I have to have popup capability otherwise the review window won't work, except for when one holds the Control key down - which is what I did here in order for the popup window to work. Can't find the disable button for the popup.

Anyway, you already know my critique with this first chapter, so I won't repeat it here, other than to say - this was a great 'beginning'. Lots of background stuff the series and movies didn't go into. I like stories that fill in the gaps, so to speak.

I'm not too surprised, either, that Mikey showed interest in learning ninjitsu first. After all, didn't he use a cartoon or comic as an example to understand what Splinter was doing? In the new toon, he's portrayed as one who wants to 'safe the day'. :0) So typical Mikey! :0)

Great job!

Be blessed,

Rene'

Oh thankyou for that absolutely priceless image of Raphie in a pink, tassled ski mask! Though all the kiddos looked hilarious in my mind's eye. ROFL. Darn it, I wish I could draw! But maybe it is a good thing Splinter didn't break out the camera for this... could see definite fistcuffs (at least) over the brotherly mis-use of an image like that!

Loved 'em playing Godzilla, and a nice bit of diplomacy from Splinter too. Though now I'm gonna be worrying what the heck fate has in store for them next... sounds a bit ominous!

The only thing I picked with this chapter was what I think may have been a mistaken word order when you described Donatello's turn with the 'sword'. In the last sentance of that paragraph it reads 'but once again, laughter gave way to skill, and soon it was just another fun game!' I'm guessing it should have been 'skill gave way to laughter' since the session seemed to deteriorate (for want of a better word) from semi-serious to just plain fun.

Anywho, apart from that can't think of any other stupid queries this time around!

Cheers, and roll on the next installment!

aw, so that's what was wrong with poor little Leo! at least it's all better now! smart thinking Splinter!

and aww, love how you use the use of correctly saying the first name as growing up kinda! that is so awesome! and sad at the same time! poor Splinter!

and cool! seems like the first lesson went pretty darn well! whoo-hoo!

found it hilarious when Mikey told Leo what to do! haha, Mikey, Mikey, Mikey...

and godzilla...hehe, fun! glad that Leo got the chance to join in! how cute-i'd love to see them play!

this is so wondercellent!

update SOON!

O. Nice cliffhanger. Another cute chapter! I loved the part where they all came out with 'banandas' on. I especially loved Raph's! Glad we found out what was wrong with Leo. I think the teams on different days thing was cute. I remember my parents pulling stuff like that with me and my little sister, when we were younger. Well, keep up the good work, and update soon!

why do I have the feeling things wont go as easily as Splinter had planned? somehow Leo's need to be JUST with father, alone, confuses me if he's simply either clingy, or in constant need of assurance, that things will be just fine as long as they're 'together' as a team...

or maybe he's thinking "three is a crowd" eh? with a three year old, who knows...

Oh my God, that was so adorable. I gotta remember this one. Perfect father/son moment, Cynlee!

Ooh... what comes next? I can't wait to find out! Excellent job! Please update soon!

Oh, Por Splinter! I bet this hurt! But thats the problem with beginners, you do never know where they´ll hit. Maybe Leo is a little bit jealous at Mikey?

I do not know thatr much about that young children, but isn´t it expected a little bit to much to do Martial Arts at the age of three? They´re pretty far for their age, aren´t they?

I do really love the "Tail episode"- always wondered how much Splinter did really thing about using it or just acts instinctively. But as far as I know, normal rats do not use their tail to fight...

Really really cute story! Love it!

Aww! Cute chapter. I love the idea of little Mikey coming out in his ninja clothes, and wanting a longer tail. That was so cute! The pillow ninja, and the pool noodle sword were both good ideas. I was wondering when the others would start training. Well, good chapter, update soon!
