Do people, and not just this author, not know the difference between a murderer and a killer?
In this story for example, voldy is a murderer, while Kottone is a killer. One is pleasure one is not. One is unjustly and the other is justly. Both can be done on purpose and accidentally.
Sorry I just get tired of people making the good guys a bunch of bitches by using their unwillingness to kill bad guys as the main justification of their good guys status. It's like Marvel vs DC one kills bad guys and the other has to capture them repeatedly while they continue to murderer people.

Did I miss something? The ritual wasn't interrupted? He shot beams of light out of his eyes. Then after the light show just like Hermione it all stops...and if it was interrupted then why the hell haven't they done it again? It's not like it takes long.

Why do people feel sooo much time was spent on Pig? He is barely mentioned and he isn't being tortured.
Personally the little paragraphs here and there reminds me that Ron did attempt to contact Harry and unique to this story, illustrates the struggle of the post owl.
Even in stories where he'd hedwig plays a large role, she always gets to where she is going with no struggle at all. Here poor Pig not only has to travel far but has to keep up with a magical that can cross oceans and continents in a few seconds.

Don't see why people had issues with the religious references, such things makes sense, Hermione obviously wouldn't use Japanese religious references. It's just words focusing intent for the magic. If Hermione had learned Buddhism then she would have references that.

For a supposedly 16 year old aware of 90% of what's going on she is rather dumb. She constantly ignores warning people, this isn't the first time she's failed to say something that would have prevented problems.

I also find it hard to believe that Petunia kept anything of or from Lily. The type of hatred needed to treat a child let alone a child blood relation like she did Harry does not allow for "sentimentality".

The only issue I have with the whole broke Harry is that what HP goblin would do business over mail like that even for a muggle with connection to Harry? There is no paper proof. No visual proof, nothing, it could just as easily been Peter vs Vernon as far as the Goblins knew.

Can definitely see the difficulty of this chapter. It wasn't badly done but definitely not as "polished" as previous. Overall not bad though!

Love how you show their thoughts, it was a major failing of JKRs she couldn't come up with sane thoughts for the characters actions.

Not sure why one of the reviewers called Harry a whining bitch. He had great evidence backed observations, everyone he ever truly cared for is dead. As far as a depressed person sees it he is utterly alone and without reason to live especially with terrorists after him specifically.
Hermione is on her own path to destruction just opposite of Harry, he feels hopeless and sure of death where she will do anything to feel alive and wanted. She is already whoring herself to Ron for feelings.
