I know it's been years, but this is amazing! I love it! You managed to incorporate Carol, and you made her the bad guy so it's less tragic for Rogue's sake! You incorporated Mystique and her connection to Rogue! Aaaaaand the BEST of ALL, everyone's favorite Cajun Thief! You, my friend, are awesome.

I REALLy like it! I hate how is "Rogue" in the movies but I like her in this fanfic,because she's like the comic's I ADORE Rogue,and I could keep reading until they get together. 3

Hat I loved most was that nothing felt forced. The characters and the plot ties together beautifully in a deliciously realistic way. Most fan fic feel manipulated in order to get the outcome the author wants. This felt like the characters drove the story. Well done!

AH yes, this ending would've been MUCH better for the 3rd movie. Little bits of events coming together making sense.
Plus, excellent cameo of various characters, bringing everyone together. Most especially Remy :) Interestingly enough you let him provide his real name instead of 'gambit'. Rogue develops great relationships with angel, logan, pete and even remy (tba). AH, the brave lovable rogue that we all remember with strong men wrapped around her finger.
Great ending for a fun sequel if you ever want to do it.

Loved the story so much would have liked more Gambit though . Really don't like rogue & bobby together for some reason. Makes my stomach turn must be growing up reading & seeing only rogue & gambit together in comics & tv.

I found your work through a "rec list" I had been searching for, for awhile; I can honestly say that I am quite happy that I finally gave in and started reading Fanfiction again, starting with yours!
I can also honestly say that this is one of the best Rogue fics I have ever read. From now on, most of them have to live up to your fics' standards ].
