I simply can’t believe there have only been a handful of reviews for this marvellous work! You have given Lacroix the most plausible scenario for rolling in love. He has not shed who is is but he has never just been a vampire. He has always been a pater familia. In Kathryn, although she is so young and from a new era, he has found a potential mate, not just a daughter or even a son.

Please finish this story! After reading "Look What the Cat Dragged In," I started going through all of your stories, and I read "Finding Home" as well as "Time, Death & Scar Tissue." Please, please update both of them and finish them up! They're excellent stories and I hate seeing them left undone!

HOW is it that this fic has so few reviews? Is the Forever Knight fandom so small these days? I weep for the General, that one day he might be forgotten after all.
I love this fic. I think you have managed to capture LaCroix's voice and flavor perfectly. I was hesitant to read it because it did not feature any other of the characters, but now I'm heartily glad I gave it a try. I cannot wait to read the rest of it.

I have read this over on adultfanfiction a bunch and yes I am one of the bad bad lurkers that bever left a review but I thought that I should let you know that this is one of my favorite stories ever and I also love the x-men fic about Victor thatr you have written. Yay! I am so glad you didn't leave this story on a cliffhanger, as I would have been in agony for months. I was a little worried you'd abandoned it. I told some other people about it but most don't want to post reviews on FFnet for some reason (do you have it set to allow anonymous reviews? Some people aren't members). I am really thrilled the story's back, and that Kathryn took it better without LaCroix immediately confronting her. Really shows the depths of her affection for her. I eagerly await the next chapter. Great job!
And maybe you should change LaCroix's name and try to get this published, mainstream. I don't see a reason why not to. No other FN characters appear.
