This is great. Shocking and sad but great.
It's interesting that these are Ron's thoughts. He's usually portrayed like, 'Ohmigod, you're gay?' before moving on to 'Omigod, DRACO MALFOY?', then he'll rant a bit, pout a bit and in the worst case scenario his friendship with Harry and maybe even Hermione will break.
But this is really more believable than any of the usual stories. And infinitely worse too, mostly because it's only potential. Its all about could-have-beens and would-have-beens and might-have-beens. Perhaps should-have-beens.
Nothing more.

Wow, that was highly realistic. Lovely.
I liked your portrayal of Ron, fanficcers tend to use his character as a sort of punching bag ;P. You kept Ron very in character.
I loved this, it's simplicity was very nice. The way you wrote the relationship between Draco/Harry made the idea of them falling in love seem very plausible, it was refreshing. The ending was very powerful, and sad, and realistic... and all those other things that make me want to add a fic to my favorites.
