I came across this story after following a rec link for a post-FJ piece, and though I'm not usually good about commenting on stories, this was just too good for me not to. I love Chase, and have waded through a whole lot of dreck for the few well written gems out there, and this one certainly qualifies as the latter. It's the first one dealing with this subject matter that I've ever seen written plausibly, and I look forward to the next chapter eagerly.
Percipience was also very well done, which is why I went looking for your other work. Keep writing-good Chase fanfic like this is all too rare. You have a gift of both characterization and storytelling, and I can't wait for more!
