I'm glad to see you are still writing Hellboy fiction!
This pair of Christmas Tree stories are heartwarming. I especially like how Hellboy's fundamental decency shines through his gruff demeanor in his conversation with the tree salesman.
I wish you the best in the new year, especially plenty of inspiration.

Hope your writer's block gets better soon, I'm sure that would be a welcome (albeit somewhat late) Christmas gift. :) Peace out,
Weasley

Awww...I think I just melted into a puddle after reading this. The Professor never fails to have that effect on me-nicely done!

This was very sweet. I always love your portrayal of Trevor Broom.
I also like how you showed HB's thought process while chasing the monster. He is aware of the bystanders, and concerned for them, but he isn't going to hesitate to take down the monster.

As always, you blow me away with the magical way you can string words together to create a world that draws us, the reader, in! Part bittersweet, part action, all heart - you have a rare talent that we're all the richer for you sharing so freely.
As always, thank you, thank you, thank you! This was a lovely present to receive. Wishing the very best to you and yours - and that 2011 is not only prosperous, but filled with laughter and joy!

Thank you for your Hellboy Christmas stories! I miss your stories, and you!
I know how it is with the limited time and the writer's block. Aside from a holiday exchange, I haven't written in a long while.
Merry Christmas, Beth!

You have been missed and therefore I tore open this present with bombastic joy. Lovely, as always with your sweet moment of poignancy in the midst of a chase.
Of course, a Charles Brown tree is always more endearing than a Times Square worthy rendition!

This is such a lovely story Beth. I wish it was featured prominently on the FF site so everyone could see it.

Wow. Hm. I never really thought of a Christmas tree that way before. I don't really like Christmas, mostly because my family is religious about it and I'm not so religious myself. So usually Christmas is a bit of a pain in the behind for me.
I thought this one was cute. I love how you write Trevor being eternally grateful for Hellboy coming into his life. It's not something that many people consider. Although not many people consider their relationship to be as significant as it really was in the film, which is kind of sad.
