Birchpaw tried to do it to help his mentor, didn't he. then he would expose brambleclaws treachery and squirrelflight would prefer ashfur and he could be happy. i like Birchleaf more than Birchfall.

Good story, but I don't really like Ashfur anymore. In Squirrelflight's Diary, I'll continue to act like she still likes him, but soon, the badger attack will end it all. It's a good story, and that's what matters.

Also, this could well be true, but it seemed really suspisious that Ashfur told Bramblebutt that Firestar was caught...hm...sniffs...
Actually, they need someone to blame in the boosk for that...remember what Hawkfrost said as he died? That he got help? If Ashfur becomes evil in some book like Dark River, I will basically crow.
I beleive he is bad.

This is very, very, very, good! I love brichpaw and all, but I don't believe ashfur is responsible. I love how you took it into the future, and showed everyone what the storyline really could have been.Thank you for believing Ashfur is innocent and looking for different directions to the same story.
