Aw, this was so melancholy ~ in a good way! I'm a sucker for that lovelorn angst!
I really liked this! It was short and bittersweet little insight. I loved this line in particular:
"Laurie hated her almost as much as he loved her."
That was well put. I look forward to reading more of your stuff!
