Awww, the hat scene is so adorable. I never noticed that before. The touching moment and the explanation for the changed timeline, also Uncle Goob! Amazing! Thanks for writing this!

"You gotta admit: this will be a great story to tell me someday."
Well done. This was very in-character and fit perfectly with the canon. I also like how upyou used the best friend line as a parallel to the line in the movie.

OMG THAT WAS TH MOST ADORABLE THING EVER AND I CAN'T EVEN THIS WAS TOO ADORABLE BECASE GAHK
I love time-travel, and when Disney made a movie on it? I knew I'd love it to pieces. I especially love stories where the main character's future self (hopefully a BAMF in some way - living the dream life) would show his younger self that yes, s/he does have a future to look forward to.
This story turned me into mush because it reiterated all that needed to be said, and didn't mention all the unwanted details. I love your portrayal of their father-son-bestfriend relationship. Too cute. Though, I did wish you could have had an Uncle Goob cameo.
In fact, I wish Disney had included an epilogue bit, like, after the credits rolled or something, where we fast forward to the present's future after everything, and we could SEE what became of Goob. And how Lewis wooed Franny. And what it was like to live with parents as crazy as the Robinsons. And what ever happened to Mildred and his biological mother after everything...
Heck there's so much that I want to know after watching the whole movie all over again...
Thanks for writing this!
Wishing for more,
Rayne
PS: I actually thought when you were going to explain how Lewis in the future (in your story) knew of the alternate universe with the Bowler Hat guy and the time-travelling and BFFing, I thought he was going to say, "It all actually happened because it was MEANT to happen." But then I realized Goob wouldn't have had a very good future then... and it wouldn't have actually made sense since Lewis clearly changed Good's life when he woke up during the Little League baseball thing...

A really great story that portrayed a realistic and strong relationship between Cornelius and Wilbur as a father and son. Great job!

Very cute. I just saw the movie tonight (yes, seven years late) and personally loved it. Though I doubt you're reading this review considering the time it's been since you wrote this, just know that it was a story like this I really needed today to keep me in a good mood. So thanks.

Aww! A really great look on one of the what-ifs of time travel... I love it! And any excuse to read father/son stuff is fine by me! XD

This was simply amazing. I could perfectly imagine this at the end of the movie. I loved the writing, the character portrayal, everything!
