This is a lovely story so far.
I feel that you are really handling Rodney's character well. The way that you had him being dismissive and poking fun at Jeannie and then stopping when he heard the news seemed so in character as well.
I love the way that you included the events of Sunday without them overtaking the story. I could feel Rodney's emotions coming throught the page. I must admit that I really felt that the Sunday didn't feel like it fit in the cannon but as a story it stood alone well. I think that you have captured Rodney's senese of desolation really well.
I am interested to see how you go with this story so please give us some more
