A work of art... although not complex and involving extreme vocabulary, the mood is truly felt. His actions easily show his emotions throughout the fic, rather than stating plainly his thoughts, which gets dull. A nice touch there.
The second look is for the reader perhaps to recall the mood changes and really feel it or perhaps see the situation in a completely different light.
(I found his action in the end comical at first, then very soulful... almost tragic).
Keep up the artsy work :)
