I must say I like your work. Though I think that you have overplayed Jayne's attractiveness. I look much the same just with less muscle, blonde hair, blue eyes, higher cheekbones and more unruly hair. I'm a pretty boy and I know it but most people don't consider me attractive, or their all really shy. Hope you have a good day and are continuing to work on your sequel to Potter's Protector. I hope to continue to see your work.

Well...gotta say that was an interesting way to end the tale, what with the younger Tams getting an eyeful (or mindful) of their parents re-communing with one another. Guess it's gonna be good practice when the Cobb and Tam lines are extended in the future, eh?
Fantastic tale, mjimeyg! This was a pitch perfect exploration of River and Jayne developing something good at a reasonable pace and with realistic obstacles :D

Well...you have to give Jayne SOME credit, since if the cathouse served food, it has to have been a higher end joint; most Rim bordellos presumably are more interested in moving the client through the welcoming, choosing and performance process as fast as possible to maximize revenue. Still, I can't believe Jayne wouldn't at least make a passing remark to another crewmember who could have explained what Simon did to him sooner...oh well ;D

Well...they're moving in the right direction, but I have to wonder about what will happen if Jayne finds out River's really just trying an experiment to see if he will change for someone if he feels the stakes are good enough. Don't think our favourite merc will be all that impressed...though I think River will come to re-evaluate her own stance soon enough :D

Well...it was the right first step, even if the path is not the greatest in the 'Verse (at least in Jayne's mind). Still, I can totally picture Ron and Adam having this conversation in character and the facial reactions to each other's remarks :D

And...the game's afoot, Watson! It will be a most intriguing bit of sport, to watch Mr. Cobb pursue Miss Tam when she's clearly making things difficult for him. Though I think he will triumph in the end!
