Woot. You really nailed Ran's character and I really like it that you didn't change too much of the setting for your story. it's realistic since it roots aren't removed.

Monkey boy was way to like ran to consider as her boyfriend seriously. He seemed too forced and was more like a comedy relief.

Finally Rei/Ran, yeah!
Liked it, although there were some little mistakes. For example when she has the concert in Tokyo. You think it's Ran's first time in Tokyo? Ran grew up in Tokyo - Shibuya is a district of Tokyo!
But it was funny nevertheless.
