Nice! Read the contract Genma!

Just found this but it was funny as hell. I saw how that contract was worded and KNEW that's what would happen. Genma really should have had Nabiki check that contract over.

Heads, I win; Tails, you lose

to be stronggood enough to match their future husband.

[It appears that there’s spacing and punctuation missing between ‘strong’ and ‘good’.]

When they arrived, they met their ancestor in the kitchen.

[I think that ‘elder’ would fit better, as ‘ancestor’ carries the connotation of being many more generations removed and generally also no longer present among the living.]

“Then all marriage claims on Ranma will be declared null and void without needing to punish the girls.”

[I cackled at this: apparently Genma didn’t notice the universal ‘all’ marriage claims, and thought she meant ‘just theirs’. Evil laughter is sure to commence.]

If Ranma wins, all marriage claims made before the fight shall be declared null and void.

[But not after the fight. Heh heh.]

Dinner was again speed training,

[Such simple, subtle humour.]

Nabiki attempted to protest.

“Cologne, didn’t you say

[When you break to a new character, you should break to a new paragraph. As such, I recommend moving this speech tag of Nabiki down to her line of dialogue.]

you should be able to recogniseunderstand: ‘heads, I win; tails, you lose.’”

[I’d pick either ‘recognize’ or ‘understand’, they serve the same purpose in this context, and seeing the two words mashed together doesn’t seem to make any sense.]

This was extremely funny, and so fitting with the cunning of the Amazons. Very well done, if it wasn't for the typo at the end it might have been Favorite material.

God bless and happy writing,

Pure awesome win. This was hilarious. The only thing I have to say it felt a bit rushed throughout, and you have a typo at the end. Otherwise, Grade 'A' work.
