One of the best stories of this sort I've found so far. Nice job.

yet another pertfectly written story.. & yet again it made me cry! the emotion you write into these stories is unbelievable! its so.. real. i loved the image of them just sitting around in a bathroom, lost in thoughts and memories. its been ages since i last read DH and this brought all the sadness flooding back! amazing story.

Woah. That was really powerful. I never really imagined what George would feel like on the night of the battle, I only thought of him reminiscing about his twin after it was all over a few days later. I have a twin, so that really hit home for me.

When George was saying, "For them, Harry, they would have said so..." and in the rest of that paragraph, he sounded like my best friend. Which is a good thing. She speaks in that style all the time.

Great fic!

Hello,

Omg this is beautiful. I love all these types of stories, and I love the stories where it shows the brotherly love of the Weasley's, any of them. I love to read those.

Also, you told me a story to read showing the serious side of Fred and George, but I don't know how to find it. Can you give me the link? I would really love to read it.

Great work

So I stumbled across this and now I'm kicking myself for not reading it sooner-it's fantastic!

I love love love that last line... I'm not sure if you intended it, but it works on so many levels-"the only part she could reach"-not just about his knee, but no one can reach the hurt, the pain, that inner hole... at least, not yet.

And at the risk of sounding like a broken record, I adore Ron here-he's still very in character, but doing the things we know he's capable of, like being there for his brother. That was a great scene, by the way-silence speaks volumes, and that was such a powerful image.

The idea of George wanting to be there when Fred died is also very intriguing the way you delved into it... really, all of George's thoughts are very well-put.

I can definitely see the seeds in this for some of your later work. And just as you said to me the other day, I hope you'll take it as a compliment when I say that as good as this is, I can see where your work has only gotten better. You've got such great insights into these characters, and to see how that's developed from here (where its great in and of itself) into now is just wonderful. I hope that made sense-point being, you did here and are continuing to do a stellar job! :)

Now then, how about one of those updates? ;) Take care!

Many of these themes have been done twenty ways to Sunday. But rarely, if ever, have they been handled with the deftness and light hand that you've shown here. This piece is truly extraordinary.

Lovely and sad, and depressing, and why, oh why did Fred have to die?

*sniffs* That was heartwrenching. Poor George. I still can't believe that JKR did that to him.

That was super adorable...

Oh George.

wow. Fred was alway the character I missed the most. The twins were always the comedic relief.
