Okay, I know that you haven't updated in what? 7 years? 8? But seriously, I see awesome potential. Plus, good grammar! Always awesome. It's seriously too bad that you abandoned this. Except, a bit short, thus lacking my high expectations of how much happens within each chapter, but that can be resolved.
