I loved this story. One of your best.A very good portrayal of Brass as a fatherly/ sort of uncle to Sara. A bit of humor also in the stress management department. Would have loved to see it happen.

Nice job.
I think the most important thing with Brass/Sara fic is getting the relationship just right.That lovely blend of friendship mixed with paternal caring is just perfect here.
And the humor is alive and well.

Sucked, you say? Not in any universe. This was truly touching. Almost bringing tears to my eyes. Doesn't happen much, let me tell ya'.
There were small errors, words missing the last letter and other such. But it didn't detract from the story. If you want to know which ones I mean, feel free to email me.

I think you didn't suck on this... It was beautiful to read... and you definetly got Brass...
Although, that Paper ripping thing reminds me of that cruel, sad, depressimg novel I read back in middle school in Germany...
But everybody's got their something...
I'm totally on for that writing during class... I usually get the best ideas in US History... thanks MR. Cunninham...
My hostmom says that good stories let Pictures or films appear in your mind while you read it...And yours does that...
I think it kind of made my day... even though I have 4 hours of class plus lunch and homework before me...
One of my favourite lines definetly are this:
“You still getting them, kiddo?”
Rii... Stopped mid-rip. “Yesterday morning I tried to sleep when Bruno came in and laid on me.” iip... Another strip to feed the recycling bin with. “The weight... It just.. I... I freaked out.” Before I could even finish my words of comfort, she cut me off sharply. “Bruno's afraid to sleep near me now.”
“But you're strong Sara...” I had been surprised when my voice cracked and a taste of salt dripped into my mouth. “You really beat the odds... Just like Nick, Greg, and me. You got a shit load of people that care about you, Sidle, and I know 99 are at the lab. We're here 24/7, just like always.”

I loved this fic. I loved the way Brass treated Sara, I loved the way Sara talked with Brass, I loved Sara's diversion and I loved the fact that Brass knows about her diversion and she shares it with him. And of course, I loved Grissom's appearance. It was very sweet.
