“Actually, Dumbledore, he named the boy after you,” Snape said, though the thin mouth twitched. “I only rated a middle name and it’s a dubious honor at best. To hear my name combined with Potter. . .”

"Prudence," very Percy and Penelopy.

I'd have expected Harry to spring into action rather than be defeated, surely he has encountered people who hate him and target his weaknesses?

I just finished reading your Christmas story (well-timed!) and now this story too. You have managed to achieve an eerily-JK Rowling-style mix of emotion and action, while keeping me hooked all the time. This kind of story is why I trawl this site - it's well-written, it adhers to canon, no canon character acts oddly, and original characters have a logical purpose. So many fics I've (tried to) read don't manage to fill one criterion, much less all four. Well-done!

Cool intro; really reminiscent of Kreacher caring for the trio in seventh book, and the changes that'd inspire.

nice idea with the James growing up...very crafty and great flow

Haha, Rons as amusing as ever, n u capturing that stubborn nature of his...

This is awesome! What I really like are the little details that you've woven seamlessly into the story: the Canon talk, the row, Ron leaving the Ministry, oh and the descriptions of Lily, Al, and James...overall there's that feel of family, of all of them grown up, but still maintaining their personality...wonderful!

Cassie, this was a wonderful ending! Teddy and Victory were brilliant and the kids were absolutely adorable. I particularly liked Fleur in this chapter. She is really sweet with her boys.

“He’s Daddy!” Aw, that really was beautiful. I loved it, every single part of it. Congratulations! Wonderful story!

I just wanted to leave you a note to say that this was an amazing story and I found the ending to be particularly beautiful. You are an amazing writer and I hope to see more from you :)

Hey!

Luv your story

I think, though, McLaggen maybe insane, but wouldn't be a killer.

Still, you're a mini-JKR!

*sobs*

I really adored this fic, and I think you've rounded it off in style. Like you, I don't know whether to be thrilled about the journey this fic has taken me on, or to be disappointed because I will never receive another update. Even if it took me a while to get around to them.

I love the way you've linked little bits from all over the place, it's made this story seem so much more canon, you know. Like the Protean charms from last chapter and Ron's driving lessons. They're the little things that have made this not just a bunch of words scattered on a page but an actual story with living, breathing characters.

And then the ending. Aww ... that's so adorable, and so perfect to end it off. I love what you've done with Harry and Ginny here, it's rare that I read trio era fanfics, as you know, and yet I've enjoyed every minute of this. I can't wait to see what you do with your Christmas fic. =)

I love the emotion you've touched on in the first few paragraphs, with the desperation to find their kids, the relief, the warmth of hearts. I also adore the way you've characterised James, he actually reminds me a lot of Ron in your fic, especially when he tries to embellish the truth.

The best thing about this entire fic I have to say, coming near the end, is that you portray families and their ties and bonds so well. If you ever write another fic, can you please PM or something, because you write so damn well?

Fantastic story - a great balance of plot, drama, and fluff.

Loved every chapter.

Well, this was certainly a better epilogue than the one in Deathly Hallows, IMO. You tied everything up brilliantly, I was glad to see there were no loose ends. Also, I just realised you only started writing this in October, which means you've written all of this in a very short space of time! *is astounded*

The "He's Daddy!" bit actually made me cry a little, it was so sweet and I just wanted to hug little Lily for that. Heart-warming and watery-smile-inducing =]. BTW, I'm glad you told us why you chose the names you did for your OCs, I love names and their meanings and I hate when people pick a name randomly.

I've read Disaster too, it's fantastic! Teenage Remus is very adorable ;]. I love Lady Bracknell's Sirius, I strongly recommend her one-shot Kiss And Tell to you, it's full of Siri.

I've enjoyed every single chapter in this, so thanks so much for writing it! My favourite chapter was probably the one where the whole Weasley family got together =].

I finally found time to come and read! Damn real life...

I was almost crying when I read Albus, James and Rose's reunion with their parents and relatives. This chapter tied up most of the loose ends and was nice and calming after the last few action-packed ones. Bill as the protective father made me laugh, and his reasoning behind it was brilliant. Ms Zabini's first name cracked me up too, it suits her! Well, if you name your kid Arachna, what on Earth would you expect them to grow up to be? =P

Once again, my favourite parts were the relationships that the hundreds of Weasleys had with each other, and of course the Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny aspects too. I'm looking forward to reading the epilogue, yet dreading it because afterwards it'll all be over! Deathly Hallows all over again, except the epilogue for that had me near-enough retching, and shrieking "All is bloody not well, you killed Remus!"

I'm looking forward to your Teddy fic, it's going to be brilliant. And I haven't got round to replying to some of your reviews yet (I was on a three-day-hiatus at the beginning of this week, during which I got a massively overflowing inbox) but I have read them and if you're still looking for some Remus/Tonks then you *have* to check out Lady Bracknell. Her current WIP, 'The Werewolf Who Stole Christmas', is practically R/T canon in my mind, it's so good.

Oh, and your dogs are so sweet in your avie! ^_^, I'm gonna try and get a nice Christmassy picture of myself for my own avatar soon. Though right now I quite like my Remus the red-nosed reideer ;]. Ek this review has ran on a bit! Sorry!

I LOVED it! I could tell from the first chapter that you were a bit older than the average fanfic writer; it really showed. You're writing was very polished and your plot had a definite direction. You did a really good job creating a believable, multi-dimensional Harry and I appreciate it! I look forward to your next fic. Cheers!

Wow- this is really good stuff. A great idea for a plot, and not put in too extreme a world, which is great. Also, you kept to a storyline, which is more than most authors can claim... well done; a definite fave

Cassandra, this is a simply amazing story. You are a truly gifted writer, and I can't wait to read anything else you might treat us with. The plot was brilliant, completely original, well executed, well paced, and had enough red herrings to throw the most devoted mystery reader. Your mid-30s quartet was very true to character, and you created a wonderful James, Albus and Rose. I can't say enough good things about this work. Thank you for sharing it, and congratulations on finishing it.
