I can't wait for another chapter and the Epilogue! You wrote this so well. It's like your JKR (even though your not)! Your an excellent author!

This is a very, very intriguing and suspenseful story. I like how strong Ginny and Harry are being.
Can't wait to read more and have a great holiday.

I think this chapter may be your best yet! Your description of setting and inner emotion seems effortless, but it gives such depth and enjoyment to the story.

Another fantastic chapter, as always. I can't believe this story is nearly done - what will I have to look forward to? Anyway, back to my review... My highlights were the little moments between the parents before Harry and Ginny left, the interactions between them and their children, particularly Harry's little inner monologue about his sleepless night. Also, the action once they had taken the portkey was intense, probably more so than any other part of the story so far, and it really kept me on the edge of my seat! Another cliffhanger - you do like to torture us, don't you? But you know I love it. Can't wait to find out what the 'plan' is, and just how much serious arse Ginny is going to kick!

Yay, another lovely chapter! The action really seems to be heating up! I'm still a little confused about the plan Ron's got in mind, but either I haven't been reading carefully enough, or we're not supposed to know yet! I'm guessing we'll see a bit of the rescue effort in the next chapter...
Glad to see Wilkinson showing a bit of remorse, as I predicted... or, well, it's not exactly remorse, is it... he's just realised that he's in a lot deeper and more dangerously than he thought he was, hasn't he?
And Scrimgeour is sounding seriously deluded, poor bloke... I guess (or at least I hope) that he thinks he's doing the right thing too, though... but I don't really like the words 'right' and 'wrong'... they're all relative. No one thinks of themself as evil...a bad person is just someone who has a slightly different definition of the word 'good'... hm, food for thought.
Anyway, well done, and I'm looking forward to the imminent arrival of chapter 17!

Great chapter - so much drama, and very exciting. If I can offer some concrit, though: it seems a tad rushed, perhaps as you were so in the moment when writing it. The prose is a little more stream-of-consciousness than the other chapters have been!
I also spotted this, and I think you left out a second how:
"But how many know much help your husband had along the way?"
Overall, though: fantastic. I really can't wait for the next chapters, your characterisations are solid and... I love Teddy, whatever he is up to... he's like the 6th member of their family, and it's very fitting for him to be present, so well done with that!

Hi Cassandra, Wow...that was an incredible chapter i must say and that your chapters just keep getting better and better don't they? I really enjoyed reading this chapter of yours and i am just waiting for the next chapter to see what happens. I like the way that you've done your characters in such a way that they've stayed true to themselves in the book and they are exactly how i would have imagined them to be. I am thoroughly pleased that i stumbled upon your story when i did, if not i would have never read this amazing piece of work! WELL DONE! and i say mega kudos and choc chip cookie points to you! i can't wait to see what happens next and i hope the kids and my beloved teddy are ok...does blaise play a further role in this? or is his appearance over?

This is one of the best fanfics I've read in a long, long time. Everyone is true to character, you follow canon, and you've still created a story that is all your own. Like JKR, you can sure plot a great mystery. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what happens next! Can't wait for more.

Yikes! I am totally on tenterhooks here. You really know how to keep your reader's attention. I love how you have continued to keep everyone in character, yet you never leave any doubt of the years that have gone by since DH. I can definately imagine JK writing Harry and Co. this way. Awesome job. Happy Holidays to you too!

Wow! Not one, but two chapters to catch up on! I'm saddened that there's not many left, but I'm simply dying to read the rest! It's so thrilling! I especially loved Ron's strategizing using chess pieces... brings me back to the good old days when Harry and Ron were still eleven, and playing chess over Christmas break. Speaking of Christmas, I was proud I recognized the Dickens quote... yay me!
And poor little Lily... she's so adorable.
Happy (early) Thanksgiving!

I loved this chapter, and how, even with as nervous as he is, Harry seems to have Scrimgeour even more terrified. I'm interested to see how the rest of the plan works out and how Ginny and Teddy now fit into it, seeing as they both are being held captive. Although, I do have to say, I dare any of them to mess with Ginny. I believe it was either Fred or George who said that size is not a determinant of power, and that's absolutely true with Ginny.
I can't wait to read more, but as I'll be having my own holiday fun the next few days, I guess I'll have to. :)
Have a very happy Thanksgiving.
